My goal is always to create a safe, predictable, and positive environment. I have extensive experience working with twins and multi-child households, mainly caring for ages 6 months to 8 years old. Most of my hands-on work has been with ages 6 months to 5 years old, which has given me a strong understanding of early childhood rhythms, routines, potty training practice and developmental needs.
In addition to childcare, I bring 2+ years of experience as a K-12 substitute teacher. This allows me to support a wide range of ages, personalities, and developmental stages.
I'm well-versed in creating daily schedules, helping families establish consistent house rules, and setting age-appropriate boundaries. I also handle meal preparation, grocery shopping and provide safe, reliable transportation to and from appointments and activities.

Ellery was AMAZING with my children. She was our full time nanny for a few months in 2022 while we waited for childcare availability and I cannot recommend her enough. She also sat for date nights after we got our children into a day care facility. Thank you Ellery! 

Ellery is an amazing caregiver. She helped me implement new things in my home to help my son. She was very patient with him (and he can be VERY challenging). I loved that she took him outside on his breaks from class and how creative she was. She's one of a kind!

Ellery is everything you want in a childcare provider. She was our nanny for a little over two years during which time, she showed my twins a nurturing, fun, learning/engaging and safe environment. She was active and was great doing a diverse range of both in and outdoor creative activities. You won't find anyone better than Ellery, she is top notch!

Ellery was fantastic, we hired her to watch our two kids age 18 mo and 7 years, 3 times while we were on vacation in La Jolla. She was punctual, kind and the kids were excited to see her each time. I love her energy, she is calm and organized. I wish she lived in Austin, I would hire her again!

Ellery has been great! She watched our 5 year old son (who can be tough) and 2 year old daughter a few times now and she has been great! She is great with the kids, they are always in bed on time and the house is cleaned up! I recommend Ellery!

Ellery is AMAZING! She is everything and more than we expected to care for our two toddlers.  She treats our kids as if their her own. Ellery is fun, friendly, easy going, patient, reliable, responsible, and both our kids ADORE her!  They ask when Ellery is coming back over to play, or take them on a walk, or go to the park.  They say "Ellery, FUN! Ellery, play!"  (Those are very comforting words for a mom and dad to hear).
Both our children know and continue to learn ASL and Ellery has played a role in teaching them and communicating with them through sign language.  She is great at following their lead in play and also introducing new ideas with play. She respects our parenting style and follows our schedule for our toddlers to keep them on track with their routine.  She is also very comfortable preparing healthy snacks and meals for the kids.  
We also have a 13 year old dog, who Ellery treats just like we do a part of the family! 
We always come home to a tidy house and a nice conversation summarizing how their evening went.  Ellery is a very wonderful person and we were so sadden when we heard she was moving to another state.  She has quickly become part of the family.

Ellery takes wonderful care of our boys. She takes them on daily adventures to the park, nature walks, library and even the children's museum. She takes and picks up our oldest son to pre-k while adhering to our youngest son's nap schedule. She even helps our oldest son clean his room! Our house is always clean and tidy when we arrive home and the boys are always happy and content. We truly feeling blessed to have found her.

She did a fantastic job and I will def call her again in the future. Our son was very happy and he had fun playing games with her.  She has a great attitude.

Ellery helped us with our 2 boys ages 5 & 9. They really enjoyed her company and asked when she was coming back! We hope to be in Seattle again soon and Ellery will definitely be our first phone call. Thanks for all the help. 

I have an 18-month-old and a 6-year-old little girl. Ellery came down  to New Orleans and spent a week at my home with my family. She was full of energy and able to keep up with my little climber! The kids really enjoyed spending time with her. She also amazingly got my 6 year old to eat eggs and other healthy foods which I can never do and helped my brother with his very first changing of a poopy diaper! She was an overall sweet girl.  She  got  my kids getting active and eating healthy. Which was great! I would recommend her for anyone looking for a sitter with high energy and a healthy life style.
