About Ellery

Hello! My name is Ellery. I am a 20-year-old college student based in Kalamazoo, MI, and I love working with kids! I grew up helping out with 8 siblings (7 of whom are younger), so I have a lot of experience with children of all ages and with household chores (which I am happy to help with!). I have worked babysitting jobs for the past 6 years, I regularly volunteer at a preschool at school, and I spent last summer working at a camp serving kids with trauma in their background. I am considering a future career in emergency medicine, social work, or camp ministry (can you tell I love people?), and I'm putting my money towards my college tuition and an EMT course next summer. I love an active, full life, and I would be happy to become a small part of yours. I will play with your kids, help with light housework, be a safe adult presence, and keep everyone safe. I am timely, responsible, and joyful, and I would love the chance to serve your family.
