The candidate canceled the initial interview on the day it was scheduled, which is understandable as unexpected situations can arise. We rescheduled for the following Tuesday and I reached out in advance to confirm, but did not receive a response. I still went to the agreed-upon location at the scheduled time, and the candidate did not show. While I cannot speak to their skills or experience as a nanny, reliability and communication are essential, and unfortunately this experience did not meet those basic expectations.
