About Ellen

Hi! My name is Ellen, I'm 26 and looking for part time work this summer with the potential to continue in the fall. I am interested in working with infants and children, including neurodivergent children. I find genuine joy in working with children and supporting their development in a variety of circumstances. I will be completing my MSW in August of this year and have a BA in psychology and sociology and I have over 10 years of experience working with children from newborn to school age. I have worked as a nanny/ occasional sitter and in an in home daycare and worked in a Reggio Emilia childcare center for 2 years. I also have two years of experience working as a special education assistant in an elementary school in Minneapolis. I am currently working as a social work intern and paraprofessional at St. David's center. I am CPR and first aid certified and have completed trauma informed, nonviolent crisis intervention training.
