Looking for an educated, experienced and creative tutor? Your search stops here. I am a young professional who currently works at the 6-12th grade level in a special education academy. I have 5 years of experience as a teacher, counselor and tutor with students ranging from pre-k to high school graduates. My degree is in psychology, and with a minor in elementary education I have strong knowledge of human development and learning sciences. Working as a part of CU Boulder's cognitive development lab, I gained research experience focused on reading interventions for early literacy. During sessions with me, students will receive clear instruction in a manner and environment that promotes growth, learning, and confidence. Additionally, I am CPR/First Aid certified, ECT qualified, and pride myself on being patient, highly adaptable, strengths-based and goal-oriented.
