About Ella

I work for an education nonprofit at high school and have an extensive background in outdoor education. I'm available almost everyday after school and weekends with notice. My rate ranges from $25-35 depending on level of care. I do not have a car, so being located along public transit would be ideal! During the school year, I teach early college material to high schoolers. In the summer, I'm a camp counselor and backpacking leader with kids aged 6 through 16. I love engaging in hijinks with kids and being super silly! Across these programs, I've had a lot experience mentoring neurodivergent kids, gifted kids, and LGBT kids. Regarding academic support, I enjoy building study skills, routines for academic success, and teaching subject matter from algebra to world history. Nurturing a passion for learning and self-confidence is super important to me too! Finally, it's important to me, as a LGBT person, that the families I work with value acceptance and justice.
