About Ella

I am a recent immigrant from the Ukraine. I came to America to marry an American. After high school I entered the Irkutsk State Pedagogical Institute where I received training in speech therapy. In the Ukraine I worked as a speech therapist in a children's hospital for the last 30 years. My work involved the examining of children's speech and determining the correct diagnosis in order that these children would receive social assistance from the state. I also advised as to how to correct speech disorders. My patients were children with speech impairments of various origins including those with autism and intellectual disabilities. I am kind, cheerful and optimistic by nature. I have a sincere love for children. I have a daughter who lives in Kiev and I love her dearly. I am not yet completely fluent in English, but I can understand and communicate well. When necessary the Google Translate app works wonderfully.
