About Ella

Hi there, my name is Ella I'm a fun, energetic, and passionate 2nd grade teacher in FCPS. I graduated from Penn State with a degree in Elementary Education. I have always wanted to be a teacher and I enjoy working with kids and helping them grow academically. I believe learning should be engaging, hands-on, and tailored to each child's unique needs and interests. With experience in building foundational skills and creating a positive, supportive environment, my goal is to continue making learning meaningful (and fun!) outside the classroom. I love seasonal crafts, educational games, encouraging independence, and more. My focus is giving your child a safe and creative space to grow whether it's strengthening reading and math or enriching their current skills and curiosities! I am available from mid-June to early August and am flexible with scheduling to best support you and your child. My rate is $70-$80 per hour for one kid.
