I had been searching for the "right" caregiver for my 11-year old daughter who is very high functioning with an autism and ADHD diagnoses. Finding the caregiver who could understand her needs, establish realistic boundaries, yet at the same time be someone my daughter adored and wanted to return has been a challenge. Certainly Care.com has a plethora of babysitters on their site, but not every person is the right fit for every situation. For 90% of families, they could do perfectly well with any number of people. But our situation is unique...and so is Ella! She is kind, caring, responsible, flexible, and mature beyond her years. Finding her on Care.com, meeting with her, and eventually hiring her was just the beginning. My daughter adores her and actually asks me to "come home later so I can spend more time with Ella." She has earned my trust and complete confidence. I am happy to share this review and look forward to her caring for my daughter for years to come.
