Hello! I have over 30 years of experience in both hospice and dementia care. I received my STNA certification in 2016 and have published several articles and a book on dementia caregiving. I have 4 grown daughters, love animals, and enjoy volunteering with the Lake County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
Elizabeth provided home health care for our 94 year old mother and was amazing! We could not be happier with the expertise, professionalism and dedication that Elizabeth demonstrated while caring for our mom. Elizabeth was very flexible with scheduling her hours in order to accommodate our mom's morning medicine/breakfast routine. Our mom had difficulty with prior caregivers but was genuinely thrilled with Elizabeth and when we told her Elizabeth would be there the next day to get her morning started off on the right foot, it really helped to calm her anxiety. Mom is now in an assisted living facility (we needed her to have round the clock care) but she still talks about Elizabeth in glowing terms. As much as we feel that the move to assisted living was the correct decision, we all miss the loving one-on-one attention that we knew our mom would consistently receive during the critical morning hours of her day. We would highly recommend Elizabeth if you are in need of someone to provide safe, loving and compassionate care for your loved one.
