I am a mother who raised two wonderful children who are now full grown. I worked at the Children's Center of the Stanford Community at Stanford University for 6 years, and left it 3 years ago to work as a private nanny for two different families. At the preschool (children's center) I cared for babies, aged 6 weeks up to 5-year-old children. I worked in all of the classes. As a nanny I took care of a toddler and two older, school aged siblings, and then for two teenagers and their school aged sibling. I am a great driver, very responsible, friendly, well read and have no criminal background. I don't smoke and I love to cook healthy, delicious meals. I love children of all ages. I am protective and alert at all times, yet also foster high self esteem and allow a sense of fun for kids of all ages. Elizabeth (Lizzie) was wonderful with our family. Not only was she extremely responsible and reliable, she was incredibly warm, upbeat, funny and smart. She was always teaching the kids about interesting science or world events, and playing word games with them. She has a natural curiosity about the world and was always learning new information and skills, which was a great influence for our kids. We would have loved to continue to have her help our family in California, but of course with her move to Utah that wasn't possible. She will be a wonderful resource to any lucky family there.
