About Elizabeth

Hi! I'm Elizabeth -- a Registered Nurse with a passion for helping students feel capable, confident, and supported in their learning. I graduated from Berry College with a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2017. From elementary school through my junior year of college I played on the basketball team, and along the way learned various strategies to best navigate academics and extracurriculars. I have experience tutoring in science, English writing, study skills, and test prep. As someone with ADHD, I've learned how to use it as a strength, and feel passionate for empowering others in finding strategies that work with their brain, instead of against it. I love helping students find what works for them instead of forcing them into a one-size-fits-all study method. I especially love working with students who need structure, encouragement, and a little extra creativity to stay motivated. I'm patient, flexible, and I love celebrating small wins that lead to big progress.
