Retired school teacher and math specialist (25 years) is offering semi-private outdoor adventures, personalized care and math tutoring or enrichment in her Portsmouth home. Gr. 1 -4. Price includes pick up from school. I'm hoping to find 3 students from the same Portsmouth school with similar needs. Parents may approach me as a 3 family group, or I will try to match them with similar students. I've been teaching full classrooms and small groups for 25 years. I have taught Gr. 1-4, and was the math specialist for Rye Elementary School for 11 years. The tutoring that I offer is within an overall after school package. Parents can choose from either two or four days a week. A six week contract is required, with an option to continue. I can teach any math concept or skill from 1st to 5th grade. I work with a wide array of materials to keep the work engaging and hands-on. I also offer math enrichment for students who love math and/or are not challenged by their school math.
