About Eliseo Gabriel

Hi, I'm Eliseo, a 43-year-old Portland State University student studying Black Studies and Philosophy with a minor in Computer Science. I have over 15 years of experience working with youth in non-profits and after-school programs, along with hands-on experience teaching beginner kung fu to children. I also have formal experience in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy and behavior modification work prior to the modern RBT credential system, using structured routines, positive reinforcement, and consistent expectations to support behavior development. I bring a calm, patient, and structured approach to childcare focused on helping children feel safe, supported, and confident. I provide tutoring and academic support in reading, writing, math, study skills, organization, and breaking down complex concepts into simple steps. My goal is to build confidence, discipline, and curiosity while supporting both academic and personal growth.
