I'm passionate about people. I've spent the last year working as an ESL instructor to children ages 5-13 in an online classroom. Prior to that I worked as a personal assistant to an adult client with nonverbal Downs Syndrome. I worked with this client for two years. During that time, I transported the client to and from appointments and activities. I assisted him in engaging with his peers by attending group bowling and dance nights. Part of my duties also included assisting with the toilet and preparing his meals. I also held a position as a personal assistant to an adult client with visual impairment (legally blind), seizure disorder, and developmental delays. My duties included transporting the client to and from choir practice, assisting her with correspondence, and assisting with English grammar (the client was a native Thai speaker). I worked with his client for close to two years.
