About Elijah

Hi! My name is Elijah and I tutor English, History, and SAT Prep. I graduated from Stanford University /w honors in Philosophy & Religious Studies. I am currently a Master's Student at Princeton Theological Seminary. My experience includes 3 years of tutoring students for Stanford's residential humanities program "SLE," 3 years working at Stanford's Hume Center for Writing & Speaking, a summer writing for 7EDU, a college admissions consulting company based in Cupertino, and a summer of freelance English tutoring. Teaching and tutoring are loves of mine. I believe every student is capable of amazing things, especially if they are given the time and attention for them to understand how to build thought processes that will help them approach new problems with confidence. I'm seeking a part-time role that will work with my school schedule. I charge per-session, and prepare intensely per-session so there is no wasted time. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
