Experience: 16 yrs
I am Lena, 16 years an infant/toddler experienced nanny, having excellent references. I am detail-oriented and organized, responsible, active, a positive person, and very flexible in work schedule. I have CPR and First Aid certifications. I understand the importance and responsibility of growing a new personality, so I build a trusting relationship with a child and take into account the unique developmental path of the child. I love working with kids and they love me on back. I am always on time at work, never smoke, direct communication is key, and always follow mom's advice and a child's schedule. I write a journal of the child's daily routines and progress. Prefer outings and physical exercises instead of TV. I provide: first priority is safety, pick up/drop off, meal preparation, feeding, bathing, reading, crafts, potty training, napping, teaching manners, playing educational games, driving the children, laundry, grocery, and errands
Our son was five months old when Lena came into our lives. She agreed to help us for a couple of weeks while we searched for a permanent nanny. I was simply amazed by her knowledge and professionalism. On the very first day, Lena drew my attention to our son's body asymmetry and showed me several important techniques for his physical development. As first-time parents, we had a lot of questions, and Lena always explained everything clearly and thoroughly, providing examples and reasons for her advice. After six months, we happily accepted Lena’s offer to bring our son to her home, where she had organized a mini day-care for two children. She has everything necessary for children: an appropriate kid's age equipment, educational toys, books, sleeping area, a playroom, a dining area with all the required utensils, and a safe, specially equipped yard. She even provides extra shoes and clothes for the children. My son always looked forward to going to Lena’s house because it was always interesting there. Lena invented many engaging developmental games, taught us how to potty-train, how to eat with a spoon and fork, how to develop both hands and legs, and explained how these activities influence brain development. Her knowledge of child psychology and physiology, her understanding of the importance of discipline—which she introduces gently yet persistently—and her ability to teach children to do things independently in a playful manner continually impress me. Lena prepares all the children's meals herself. I have never seen such a variety of healthy, delicious food for children aged 14–20 months. Lena happily shared her recipes and even cooked special dishes for my son due to his eczema. I always felt extremely comfortable with Lena. She always explained to parents in detail what she was doing with the children and why. Lena is a tactful, patient, well-rounded, highly responsible, positive, and cheerful person. She loves her work, and most importantly, I see from my son and another girl who was also brought to Lena’s home that the children love her very much. I wholeheartedly and gratefully recommend Lena as a nanny for your children!!!!
