About Elena

Hey there, I'm Elena! I'm a fourth-year medical student in LF, aiming to specialize in family medicine. I've always been passionate about working with kids and being part of their growth. My caregiving journey started at 16 as a babysitter, and since then, I've worked at summer camps and cared for children ranging from 4 months to 13 years old. Managing multiple children and creating activities tailored to their needs has become second nature to me. These experiences have fueled my desire to pursue pediatrics, where I can create environments where kids thrive. Before medical school, I worked as a full-time nanny, handling meals, homework, and activities. Building a strong connection with the family was incredibly rewarding, and I've maintained that bond to this day. The responsibility I felt in that role solidified my passion for pediatric care.
