I have been in the field for over four years now I started off working in a Group Home as a caregiver and through my employer took the Arizona state group home managers test to be licensed as a Group Home manager I currently a private caregiver for a gentleman in Paradise Valley. I've been there for over a year now. Before that I worked for a behavioral health company I was a BHT behavioral health tech for over eight years, working with a wide range from 30s to 85 years old. In that job, I was primary focused on ongoing into skilled nursing centers and private homes, providing services in house for people that could not be transported out of their home or facility I would do activities with them. I would mainly listen to their problems, concerns help, and teach them to self advocate for their care in a lot of these facilities and when that didn't work, I would advocate for them, making sure that they got the care that they deserved and needed.
