About Elaina

Hi! My name is Elaina, and I am currently a Middle Level Education major at Illinois State University. I anticipate graduating in Winter 2026 with my teaching degree focused on Social Studies and English. I have experience student teaching in schools around the area, as well as spending a few weeks teaching summer school in Chicago. Working with kids is something I genuinely love. I am patient, responsible, and easygoing, and I try to create a positive and supportive environment wherever I am. I am comfortable helping with homework, planning engaging activities, and keeping routines consistent. I am also comfortable around small to medium sized dogs, so pets in the home are not a problem for me.
