About Kate

Helping students overcome learning challenges and build confidence is something I truly value. As a Special Education major and current junior in college, I bring both academic knowledge and real-world experience to my tutoring approach. I have worked closely with students with disabilities as a paraprofessional in public and private schools and have prior tutoring experience from high school, where I supported students who were struggling with math. I focus on patience, encouragement, and adapting lessons to fit each student's learning style and pace. I strive to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes as part of the learning process. I communicate progress clearly and celebrate growth, no matter how small.
