About Elaina

In August, 2025 I will be available to work with one family in need of early years learning support for their 2 to 4-year-old. I have experience as a preschool and kindergarten teacher and many years of tutoring both privately and center or school based. I am happy to help young learners with early literacy, ELL and other supplemental activities to support and encourage cognitive development as a complement to our play based activities during the week. A family who wishes their child to attend story hour, music, gymnastics and other enrichment classes would be amazing! I encourage a great deal of time in the fresh air and sunshine and love to introduce small ones to both the natural world around us, as well as supporting the development of executive functioning, prosocial behaviours, autonomy and social etiquette. I also enjoy sharing my creative hobbies (cooking, sewing, painting) with toddlers and preschoolers by integrating them into our activities, outings and lessons.
