My name is Ekhlas, I have three sons, all above 20 years old (engineer, pharmacist, and teacher). I am certified CPR and First Aid Training, and have had formal training from Urban College of Boston. I love taking care of children. I have taken care of kids for 10 years, 5 years in a daycare of 10 kids and 5 years in my own home. A lot of my experience has also come from raising my lovely grandchildren. I have a lot of experience with kids of all ages, including newborns and special education kids. I speak English and Arabic. My schedule right now is not too busy, I can make my schedule work according to what your need. I am asking between $20-$25/hr.

My story started with Ekhlas when I delivered my baby during COVID surge. It was only me and my husband, inexperienced parents in training without any family support. As a resident physician I only had 6 weeks of maternity leave before I had to find a nanny to take care of our baby. To make the situation more complicated, our baby was a very slow feeder, we even had to use preemie bottles, and we were really desperate to find someone that we can trust. Here when the miracle happened and we met Ekhlas through a mutual friend. Ekhlas has a great experience with babies, but more importantly she is so loving and caring. Even more, I had to do long hours shifts and I could not take care of my own self and I was not making enough milk. Ekhlas started to teach me how to prepare meals that would improve my milk production.
For our baby, it did not take long before she became very attached to Ekhlas, as if she was her own grandma. Ekhlas is very flexible and she accommodated to our hectic schedule and long working hours. I can spend hours to describe all the great things about Ekhlas, and my words will fall short. She is the one who will make your baby happy in a loving and caring way that carries a lot of teaching and learning because it mixed with a generous soul and years of experience.

Ekhlas was a miracle sent and came into our lives just at the right time. Our previous nanny had bailed on us and I was in the middle of studying for important exams. She was only supposed to be temporary but we fell in love with her. From the first day, we could tell she had a loving nature to her. She is very dependable and always arrives on time. She is also flexible especially given our hectic work schedules and has tried to fit her life around our schedule. She has been patient with our picky toddler eater who now eats more. Our toddler is always happy to see her and we feel comfortable leaving our child with Ekhlas. Ekhlas goes above and beyond for our child and treats our child as her grandchild like buying him toys! She will also take care of the parents and always makes sure we are well fed by cooking meals for us (we have never asked her to cook food for us but she always has something made for us!). We have become a part of her family....she is AMAZING!!!

Ekhlas has become more than just a baby sitter to my family. She is a motherly figure that is very supportive to the mother. She took care of my infant multiple times. She arrives exactly on time and in the very rare occasion she has to be late she messages beforehand. Ekhlas has her way in calming infants and playing with them. She has also picked up my infant from day care before a few times. She is reliable and considers safety as she has a car seat. Her English is functional level and her native language is Arabic. I would recommend Ekhlas for infants in a heart beat! It is obviously her passion, area of expertise, and comfort work area. 

Ekhlas is really amazing. She is wonderful with children of all ages. I would highly recommend her.
