About Eileen

I'm a former teacher and have always enjoyed helping both children and older adults, as I know how much goes into caring for someone you love. Caregiver stress is said to be as much, if not more, than the person being cared for. So I totally understand needing a helping hand. I've volunteered at different points of my life with events like performing music for senior citizens, or repairing projects on their homes. I respect older people's needs to share stories and relive joyful memories. As a child, I helped take care of my grandmother when she was nearing the end of her life. Whether it was getting her a glass of water or turning off a light, there was always something to do. I'm now a mom to two young children, and am fully equipped to keep someone company, or run an errand, heat up some soup, you name it!
