About Ebony

Hi! I'm Ebony, a reading intervention specialist and founder of Book Break Adventures. I work with children who are struggling with reading, behind grade level, or feeling frustrated and stuck. My instruction is structured, systematic, and phonics-based - we focus on decoding words accurately instead of guessing. I provide targeted support in phonics, blending sounds, reading fluency, and building confidence. Sessions are personalized to your child's current skill level and designed to close reading gaps step by step. I use clear, explicit instruction with engaging practice so kids feel successful, not overwhelmed. If your child avoids reading or says "I hate reading," I'd love to help them break through reading barriers and grow in confidence.
