I finished a 12 month Vocational Nursing program at American Career College and am currently preparing for my NCLEX exam. I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant with experience in senior caregiving, nannying, babysitting, and personal assistance. My CNA experience includes assisting with bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, toileting, companionship, mobility assistance, taking vital signs, ambulation, repositioning, and range-of-motion exercises. I have also prepared light meals, provided transportation to doctor's appointments, assisted with grocery shopping and errands, and helped create a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment for clients and families. Fun facts - Before entering healthcare, I worked in marketing for a global sneaker brand. Prior to that, I worked as a nanny and personal assistant for a legendary video game designer and his family in Oakland from 2011 to 2017. References available upon request.
