My name is Duane, I'm currently 20 years old and I would like to go into Med-School later on. The past 3 years I've been working with a now 23 years old male with autism while attending community college in San Diego. These past years have taught me so much about being caring, responsible and always quick when it comes to being a caregiver. In order to do my job better I've gotten 3 certifications: PCM (Professional Crisis Management) which taught me about some appropriate holds for my client during his episodes, Everyday Behavior Tools which taught me how to prevent them from going into crisis and lastly RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) which taught me about how to understand my client better and act accordingly. I look forward to having more clients as I'm moving now to Riverside for university, some of my qualities is that I'm responsible, caring, quick-learner, committed, and I speak both English and Spanish.
