Our family was so fortunate to find Drina on Care.com. My family was looking for a full-time caregiver for our elderly mom after our dad passed away. We needed a person who could be a companion to our mom, prepare meals, and help look after the house so that my mother could stay in her home. We found this in Drina. Drina exceeded our expectations. She gave her full attention to our mom every day, talking and listening to her, addressing her health issues and carefully administering the many medications our mom was prescribed. She was reliable and professional and worked well with the many health professionals we interacted with. Some of the tasks that Drina performed were: scheduling and taking our mom to doctor appointments; daily medical logging and informing us through texts, phone calls, and weekly recap reports. This was crucial for us because we live out of state; and managing the household, including grocery and household shopping. These are just some of the many things that Drina did, but just as importantly, she focused on my mom’s happiness. For example, she would take my mom to Home Depot to look at the garden section because my mom loved gardening or find music on her phone for my mom to listen to. Drina was with us for 6 years, until our mom passed away at the age of 95. I saw firsthand her honesty and integrity. I wholeheartedly recommend her for any caregiving position.
