Hi there, I'm Dori and I'm a UO student studying outdoor recreational leadership and environmental education. I have 6 years of babysitting experience and I currently work part time at Bounce Gymnastics as an aerial acrobatics instructor, also coaching preschool gymnastics. I love helping children explore movement and build growth mindsets. As much as I love to have fun, I'm very safety conscious as well. I'm trained in CPR, AED, choking rescue procedures, concussion awareness, first aid, fire extinguishing, and water safety. This fall I will also be earning certification as a wilderness first responder. My focus is on giving your child safe and creative care while you are away. I love games, I play outside, and I can hold my own in a conversation about your kid's favorite franchise. I can incorporate movement or academic subjects by request. In my spare time I like to read, backpack, mountaineer, and collect Garfield Merchandise. I speak English and Japanese.

Dori is the best. My kiddos connected with her right away. They love when she comes over because Dori makes the day so fun. She is respectful of our wishes and is very clear with communication. She is wonderful with all 4 of my kiddos of various ages and can manage to get them all engaged in different activities. She is very trustworthy and I feel safe with my kids in her care. I truly appreciate her creativity, her spunkyness, and easy going attitude. We got really lucky finding her!
