About Doreen

When I suddenly found myself caring for my husband’s father I didn’t really stop and think the amount of time I’d need to dedicate to him. My father-in-law would often have doctor’s appts early in the morning. I work as a nurse over night. Coming home from a 12 hour shift to take him to doctor’s appt on some days would be exhausting. My husband would then rely on me to tell him what’s going on. Half the time I’d be so tired I couldn’t remember the conversation. I hired Doreen to help take some of the load off of my plate. She’d accompany my father-in-law to appts and run errands with him. I know he appreciated the company as well my mother-in-law had passed so we no longer wanted him to live alone. She’d make sure he took his meds since his memory had started fading as well. Doreen really helped ease mine and my husband’s minds regarding his dad. She helped us really have an understanding on what his progress was with his health and making sure he wasn’t stuck in the house all day waiting for my husband to come home. I really appreciate all that’s she’s done for us and I would highly recommend Doreen for anyone needing someone to aid with an aging or ail family member!
