I presently work for for the Probation Department and have worked for a woman in her 90's for over two years who lost both of her legs due to poor blood circulation and diabetes. I thoroughly enjoyed spending quality time and assisting her with washing, assisting her in bed, assisting her on/off the commode, putting her in the shower, cooking her meals and doing a morning diabetes test for sugar level. I also cared for another lovely woman who had early stages of Dementia and cared for her needs 3 times a week for nearly a year. I also have an autistic grand child and very used to dealing with individuals with special needs. I have come form a large family and have had experiences with accidents as well as dealing with a special needs grandson which has led me to assisting in this manner to give back to those in need of assistance.

Donna took care of our 80 year old mother (3 afternoons/nights) for over a year before Mum went to live in a memory care facility. She is the definition of a true professional that you would want to be caring for your loved one or yourself.
