Donna is incredible! She has already made such a huge impact on our lives. Her attention to detail, communication, and overall calm demeanor are things that stand out the most. It's easy to see how she has so many great reviews. She is truly an exceptional caregiver. 

Words can not fully articulate how incredible Donna is but I will do my best to articulate. Donna became my son's Nanny when he was 7 months old and I was returning to work after maternity leave. I could not imagine how I was going to make the transition from being with my son 24/7 to leaving him for the day when I went to work. But those worries were put at ease when I met Donna and she became a part of our family. Right away I felt that I trusted her implicitly and she was an expert in her field. She was absolutely wonderful with my son and was also a great source of comfort to me as there is nothing better than peace of mind when leaving your baby with someone new. Almost 2 years later those feelings and sediments have only multiplied. Donna is caring, thoughtful, attentive, trustworthy, knowledgeable, responsible and just simply the best of the best. She is irreplaceable. My son and our family have benefited immensely from her presence. My son will be forever shaped by the influence she had on him in raising him during such formative years. My son adores her. I adore her.  My family adores her. We love Donna and could not recommend her more strongly for any future position in which she applies. 

Donna has worked with our family for the last 2 years as FT Nanny to our now 2.5 year old daughter. Donna is an incredible partner both in care-giving and running a home in general. She's proactive, thoughtful, organized, professional, and helpful beyond measure. She's been a great team member with us in creating and maintaining consistency and routine, transitioning from infant to toddler and navigating all of the changes that come at this age. I never worried that our daughter wasn't in the best hands, having a wonderful time with whatever activity Donna had set up for her. She is also very generous with her time and energy, always looking for any way to help when she has available time. She is going to be missed greatly and anyone that gets to work with her is incredibly fortunate!

Our 2 months old girl looked so comfortable in Donna's arms. Donna was punctual, responsible and very easy to work with. While our party was going on we felt very comfortable. We can't wait to work with her again. 

As first time parents to a 2 month old I can honestly say my wife and I were pretty clueless about interviewing a babysitter. Luckily for us, Donna was our first interviewee and she came prepared! Not only was she 10 minutes early to the interview, but she prepared her resume and references for us which made things really easy for us to ask about. After meeting her, we knew immediately that we wanted her to be our babysitter. Not only does she have the years of experience we were hoping for, but she's very easy to talk to - we don't have to worry about her judging us in any way and she's a very kind and warm person. We feel extremely lucky to have found her! 

My son took to Donna right away.  We were able to escape for a date night without even a tear being shed!  Donna was very punctual, attentive, asked all the right questions, and brought a super calm, informed demeanor with her.  We look forward to working with her going forward

We hired Donna to watch my 7 month old son when I returned to work and she's made the transition so much easier for myself and family.  Most importantly, I trust Donna with my son - she's phenomenal with him.  She's energetic and attentive, and treats my little one with the utmost love and care.  I work from home some days and hear them singing, playing and reading all the time!

After speaking to and interviewing many, many nannies when I was looking to return to work, I finally decided to become a stay-at-home Mom because we couldn't seem to find the right fit.  Flash forward 4 months and I started looking for a date night/occasional daytime babysitter - and we found Donna.  Donna is everything that we were looking for when we were trying so hard to find a full time nanny.  She arrived for her interview early, had a resume, cover letter, and references.  She's a Mom, she's professional, she's always on time, has reliable transportation, she's very calm, observant about our infant daughter, etc...  I could go on and on, but I don't think there is a need.  She's now worked for us several times and I feel so lucky we were able to find her.

We love Donna:) it took me a long time to find someone I would feel comfortable leaving our 4 month old baby with. When I met Donna I could tell she was dependable, smart, and trustworthy. We're very happy that we found her!

I definitely recommend hiring Donna! She has been an absolute joy with our children (ages 3 months and 14 months). Donna is the first person, other than family, that we have trusted to care for our babies and she has made us feel so comfortable every time we leave them with her (for a parent there is no better feeling). It can sometimes be quite a challenge caring for two under two years old but Donna handles it like a pro and with ease. We look forward to the days that we have Donna and I'm more than confident that you will too!

We knew we would like Donna from our first intro meeting and our first impressions were confirmed when she sat for our two young kids. The baby was under the weather and toddler was being unusually clingy but Donna did great. Somehow she got both to sleep without any issues and even did some cleaning for us as we had left a mess on our way out. Totally unexpected but a nice surprise! Will definitely ask her to help again for future date nights. 

I was in a pinch with a last minute cancellation of a babysitter and sent out inquiries to several caregivers.  Donna responded very quickly.  Once confirmed, she arrived early, took the time to get to know my daughter, asked all the right questions (allergies, what was her routine, what was bedtime, etc.), and my daughter really enjoyed her time with Donna.  I look forward to working with her more in the future.  Highly recommend.

Recommend hiring Donna as she is highly dependable and fantastic with toddlers. She helped out my family for three days as backup care.  She arrived on time, cheerful and immediately formed a bond with our 3.5 year old and really interacting with him. Completely felt at ease with her taking care of our child and would hire again when the need arises.

Not only is Donna joyful, intuitive, and attentive, but she is incredibly well-organized, pays attention to details and has been wonderfully flexible and supportive of our needs as a family.  She's an amazing person -- a wonderful influence for children.  You won't regret bringing her into your family and your kids will love her!

I contacted Donna to babysit shortly after we moved back to Oakland. She came over to meet us first and did a wonderful job taking care of our 4 and 6 year so we could go out to dinner. She is experienced, warm, clear, and our kids loved her.

Donna recently began working for our family providing backup care and occasional babysitting for our two-year old daughter.  From the moment she walked in the door to meet us for the first time, she connected well with our daughter; she has a peaceful, caring, and fun presence.  When Donna came back a second time to provide backup care while I was working from home one day, Donna and our daughter hit it off right away, and my daughter didn't come looking for mama once, even though I was in the next room.  Donna was patiently reading to and conversing with my daughter and getting to know her. Since then, my daughter's been asking for Donna to come back.  
I've also found Donna to be easy to talk to and very professional.  Her teaching background serves her well in communicating effectively with parents and adapting to the demands of any childcare position.

Donna came to the rescue when we needed last minute childcare for our 7 month old daughter. She took this job very seriously, from the interview to her follow up email at the conclusion of the third day. Donna made sure to send pictures and detailed emails about the adventures taking place while I was away. She truly seemed to love spending time with my daughter, and even though it was only 3 days, I felt they were developing a bond. I appreciate that Donna has similar perspectives on parenting, and it seems, life. Her obvious affection for children and animals put me instantly at ease. I would absolutely recommend Donna for children of any age.
