My name is Donna and I live in Wilmington. I worked in the medical field for many years before I started taking care of children. My two kids are adults now and unfortunately, I have no grandchildren. When my kids were growing up, I was always the mother that had an extra child or two over to play, had the Easter egg hunts or Halloween parties, and was always outside or at the park on a nice day. I have cared for a number of children over the years and have also provided housekeeping and meal preparation services to some of the families. I have been working full-time for a family in Stoneham since January 2012. The little boy I babysit is on the autism spectrum. He just turned three and will be attending preschool full-time. I also pick up his 6-year-old brother at the bus stop and watch both children until 6:00 p.m. I also take care of both children when there is school vacation, or if his brother is home sick from school. My employer is a physician, so I have always been flexible with my hours in case she is running late or on-call at the hospital. My duties include housekeeping chores, meal preparation, taking the baby to various classes, as well as driving his older brother to and from various after school activities. I am patient, kind, loving and caring. I am also dependable, responsible and flexible. I love to do things like arts and crafts, read books, go to the park and go for walks. I also have a stellar driving record, and will drive to and attend any activities or appointments. I have no problems doing personal errands and odd jobs. Although I will miss them both terribly, I am so happy to have been part of their lives. Please know, I will take care of your child as if (s)he were my very own. You can go to work or do your errands and never have to worry about the care your child is receiving.
