I am experienced in helping with meal prep/cooking/feeding children, homework help, running errands, and household chores, working with in and out of home behavior, occupational, and speech therapists, overnight/vacation and travel help, before/after school activity supervision/transportation, and expirence teaching children to swim. Dominique was our nanny from August 2018 until September 2022 for our 2 boys who are both special needs (ASD). She is very kind, patient, caring, and flexible. Both of the boys were nonverbal at the time and she took the time to learn basic sign language to help communicate with them and participated in their early intervention services in our home while I was at work. She always made sure she discussed what the services went through that day to keep me up to date (as well as everything that happened through the day... what kids ate, nap times, etc). As hard as it is to find childcare, it's especially hard to find childcare that understands special needs. Dominique loves our boys and we knew we never had to worry because they were always safe... we unfortunately moved out of state September of 2022 otherwise she would still have a position with us.
