I would love to help you or your child achieve success in school. My "fees" have a broad range because I may be able to offer some flexible services in addition to direct instruction time. Education/training: I have over 50 graduate hours towards my English MA from years ago and I am currently in a graduate program to be certified to teach in k-12 special education. I was a trained and tutor at the UAB writing center over 20 years ago and taught composition courses at UAB. I recently was a supervisor and trainer for a tutoring center specializing in reading therapy for students with dyslexia and adhd or other learning challenges. I home-schooled my dyslexic daughter through her last two years of high school while working full time, and have a broad knowledge of different home schooling curriculum and can help with curriculum design for new home schooling families.
