About Jacquelyn

As an early childhood education major at UAB, empowering students to reach their full potential is at the heart of my teaching practice. With a year of experience supporting learners, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for discovery rather than rote memorization. I assess your unique learning style through active observation, tailoring my approach with visual aids, discussions, or hands-on practice to ensure the material clicks. I believe open communication is essential for tracking progress and setting clear goals, so I keep parents informed every step of the way. Whether we meet at your home, the library, or a community center, I am dedicated to helping elementary, middle, and high school students master English through critical thinking and problem-solving. Seeing a student's confidence grow as they overcome challenges is the most rewarding part of my work. I look forward to helping you achieve your academic goals.
