About Dilan

Hello families, it's a great honor to greet you! My name is Dilan, and I'm a young Ecuadorian with childcare skills and many years of experience working as a teacher, instructor, and raising my younger siblings. I currently work at The New School in San Francisco in an after-school program, caring for children ages 2 to 12. I have a great love for them and enjoy building strong bonds with them, teaching them many of the things I know. In my free time, I exercise, love crocheting, embroidery, and sewing, and I have experience cooking Ecuadorian cuisine and leading learning activities. I speak Spanish (native) and English (B2 level). In addition to childcare, I also have experience with house cleaning, organization, and laundry. I am patient, creative, and friendly, and I communicate with parents using their preferred method, including verbal updates and texts. Enforcing household rules is something I am comfortable with this.
