I am from South Florida and I have been living in DC for 4 years. as I am concluding my time at Howard, I have experience studying abroad in Kenya, Belize, and Benin and I currently work Afterschool 3rd grade. I am an older sister to an Autistic sister who I love dearly and have primarily taken care of since I was young. Children of all ages have to potential to be great people in the future if we, as a community make the choice to nurture their light. Because of their bright ideas, brilliant minds, and astonishing imaginations, kids can create the world we all want to see I'm looking for a job that is consistent and has a loving family that embodies unity, patience, structure, trust, adaptability, and wisdom. Diandra is a great sitter and my kids love her. She engages them the entire time she is with them. She loves to read to them and tells them stories in a way that keeps their attention and makes the characters come alive. You can tell she has a genuine love and care for children and likes to be around them. Can’t recommend her enough!
