About Diana

Hi! My name is Diana, and I recently graduated from UCSB with a degree in Economics. I am a native English and Spanish speaker and enjoy helping students build confidence in their learning. I am available through mid-August, and my schedule is very flexible with only a few exceptions. I have experience with math through college-level coursework in algebra, calculus, statistics, and economics, and I am comfortable helping students with elementary and middle school math, pre-algebra, algebra, homework support, and study skills. In high school, I completed advanced Spanish courses designed for native speakers. I also lived in Italy for four months and completed year one of college-level Italian coursework. Throughout high school, I volunteered for three years teaching English phonics to children in Cambodia through weekly video calls. I strive to create a positive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
