About Diana

I have had the pleasure of working with Diana, Certified Nursing Assistant, since December 2011 at an Adult Day Health Center. The Adult Day Health Center is a community based long-term program that provides comprehensive health care to the frail elderly, chronically ill, mentally retarded, and disabled individuals in a congregate day setting. As the Director of the Rehabilitation Department and treating therapist, I have had the opportunity to work with Diana on a daily basis. Diana has been assigned on a daily basis, for part of the day, to assist this writer and the physical therapist to provide care to our clients. Diana arrives promptly each day with a smile and eagerness to work. She warmly greets the clients and staff and helps to provide set-up for the clients, e.g., place hot or cold packs on clients as indicated, perform range of motion exercise, assist the client to perform therapeutic exercise or assist the physical therapist to ambulate the client. While performing each task Diana speaks to the client in a caring manner. She is patient and really listens to their concerns. Diana is bilingual and speaks Spanish. She communicates well with our Spanish and Italian speaking clients encouraging them to achieve their potential. Diana spends the majority of her day assisting clients in our "Special Care Unit" by helping them to feed themselves, to toilet, walk or engage in an activity. Even the most difficult clients respond well to her! Diana will be an asset to any program. Sincerely, Alice
