I have experience working in caregiving environments supporting both children on the autism spectrum in daycare settings and seniors living with dementia. In childcare, I focused on providing structured, patient, and supportive care tailored to each child's individual needs, helping with communication, daily routines, emotional regulation, and positive social interaction. I used consistency, clear instructions, and encouragement to create a safe and inclusive environment. In senior care, I assisted individuals with dementia by supporting daily living activities, promoting dignity and comfort, and using calm redirection techniques to manage confusion or agitation. I prioritized safety, compassion, and patience while maintaining routines that helped reduce anxiety and improve quality of life. Across both roles, I developed strong observation skills, adaptability, and a compassionate approach to individualized care.
