About Devyn

Hi there! I have been working in childcare for 6 years now, with not only families but for my hometowns recreational summer camp program. My strengths are patience, creativity, and maintaining a calm and welcoming presence. I have lots of experience caring for children of various ages, and I'm comfortable caring for up to three children at a time. My educational background includes some college coursework in early child development and psychology, as well as certifications in First Aid, CPR, and Certified Nursing Assistant. This helps me create the mentally stimulating and positive environment I dream to create with families in the future! Being a nanny allows me to become more familiar with the one-on-one care with families that I will have in my future. When communicating with parents, I follow their preferred method of communication to reassure safety. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules and believe in creating a consistent and structured environment for children.
