About Devan

I am a 28-year-old with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Fort Lewis College. I worked as a nanny for about 7 years, ages 5 months- 7 years old, and have experience working in a preschool with infants and toddlers as well. A few years ago, I started practicing goldsmithing which is currently my full time job, but I still love to babysit occasionally. I think it is very important for kids to play outside and engage in creative learning activities. A typical day with the last child I cared for would involve making breakfast together, going on a nature scavenger hunt, painting our favorite "scene" from the day, and reading lots of books.
