About Destiny

Caring for children has been the center of my career for several years. I have extensive experience working with children of all ages, including those with autism, developmental disabilities, communication delays, emotional regulation challenges, and other special needs. As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) and Special Education Paraprofessional, I have provided one-on-one support, helped children build social and communication skills, supported learning and daily routines, and created safe, positive environments where children can thrive. I am experienced in managing challenging behaviors with patience, empathy, and evidence-based strategies while helping children feel understood and successful. In addition to my professional experience, I enjoy engaging kids through play, crafts, outdoor activities, and creative learning opportunities. I am CPR, First Aid, and CPI certified, bilingual in English and Spanish, passionate about providing dependable attentive care.
