Hi, I am Destinee! I am looking for a long-term job. 

A little about me- I have been a nanny since 2012. Since then, I have worked for several families long-term and babysat countless in-between! With working for so many wonderful families, I truly know the meaning of being adaptable! I will always try my best to serve your family the way that works best for you! I'm in my final semester of an elementary education degree. I love incorporating education and play into the everyday rhythm. 

I have three young/loving/silly/ energetic children myself. I would describe myself as a gentle parent. I believe firmly in nurturing childhood and the power of play. We do a lot of sensory bins, crafting, science experiments and playing outdoors! I am looking for a job that is flexible for me to have my baby join (born 01/25).

Destinee was an absolute God-send to our family. She was the first nanny we ever hired and has set the bar high. I never once doubted the safety and wellbeing of my boys. This peace of mind allowed me to return to work with confidence and allowed me to focus on my work. She took initiative around the house without being asked to do so. She is already greatly missed and will be a blessing to whichever family she gets to work with next! If only we got to move with her (LOL)

If you're looking for childcare. . .stop!  You've found her.  Destinee was amazing with my boys.  She managed a toddler (in the crazy toddler phase) and a baby like it was nothing. If we were still in the same area, I would have been happy to have Destinee watch my kids for years.  She brought toys and activities that kept my guy entertained and engaged, encouraging growth and development. 
We were excited to see her come each day and sad to see her go.  She brought a nice calm energy that my house just doesn't see much of these days.  I knew my kids were in good hands when she was here.  We have some artwork that my son did with her up in his play area and he often talks about it.  We all miss her.  I would HIGHLY recommend hiring Destinee.

Years have past since Destinee took care of our 3 children, but even now we (or our children) have moments where we look back fondly on time spent with Destinee.  Even at the young age Destinee was when she began taking care of our children, you could tell she had a passion for children.  Without our prompting, she taught our youngest sign language and worked on letters, words, numbers, and reading with the older children.  Still there was time for tea parties, Play-Doh, seasonal crafts, and so much more.  It is also worth mentioning that Destinee was always responsible, on time, and reliable.  When our children were young, we were fortunate enough to have 3 great caregivers that all were hard to see move on, but seeing Destinee go was especially hard.  There was comfort in knowing though that Destinee was moving on to start her new life.  Years later it's great to know she has became the mom and caregiver she was meant to be.

Destinee provided a safe, caring, and fun environment for our toddler. We always felt comfortable and confident leaving our child in her care. Truly one of the best sitters we have ever had!

Destinee is basically Mary Poppins. If I'm completely honest I would rather Destinee watch my kids over their grandma. (sorry grandma, if you ever read this) 

Destinee hosted learning play dates with my toddler, and put together sensory bins for my baby. I really appreciate how patient she is. When she talks to my kids she gets down on their level and speaks to them with such kindness. I'm sad every day that we lost her as our nanny. My kids ask about her and her boys often. If you're lucky enough to have her live near you, consider yourself blessed. I can't say enough great things about Destinee. She is an amazing nanny, mom, and teacher.

Destinee has been watching my son for almost the past year and we couldn't have found a better person. She was flexible with whatever schedule I needed, and if anything came up she was prompt in letting me know. She helped ease my nervous mama's heart during the first few weeks of using her care. I knew I never had to worry because I could tell that she gave the best care and she and her boys loved my son. Destinee is patient and someone you can rely on. We're so sad that she and her boys are leaving, but happy for her next adventure! I would rehire her in a heartbeat, and you won't regret choosing her to take care of your little ones! Thank you for everything Destinee!!

I have trusted Destinee with my children on several occasions, and I would again! She is knowledgeable, patient, and fun. She has a caring heart for children and a creative mind for keeping them entertained and learning. I would recommend Destinee to anyone looking for dependable childcare!

Destinee has babysat for my daughter on multiple occasions. She is one of the only people I have ever trusted with my children because of her caring and patience, and her genuine love for nurturing children. I have the utmost faith that children in Destinee's care will be well cared for, taught and have a lot of fun! My daughter loves her sons and they are both very sweet & fun little boys!!

Destinee is amazing! She cared for our son for about two years and that was by far the best decision we could have made for him to grow, learn, and thrive while we were at work. There is no way we could ever repay Destinee for all the foundational skills and experiences that she provided to him. Her calm demeanor, joyful and nurturing personality, and flexibility set her apart. If we still lived in the same area as Destinee, we would still want her providing care to our son. She is by far the best and we highly recommend her!

Destinee met our family when my son was only four months old and she knew exactly what to do the minute she walked in the door. I was a first-time mom and very anxious about leaving him to go back to work, but she instantly put me at ease when she cared for my baby like one of her own. She continued to surpass my expectations as my son matured and grew older. she focused so much time on reading and imaginative play.  I can't complete this review without saying how very much our family will miss Destinee. Anyone who hires her is one blessed family.
