I'm a 23-year-old grad student at Adelphi University and I am also a fellow for a nonprofit organization in Brooklyn called New Heights Youth which purpose is to get youth in underserved communities active! I have been a nanny for the past 5 years for kids aging from newborn-12 years old. I am currently a nanny for 2 different families in oregon right now but I am looking for a new family to nanny for in Brooklyn as I am moving to the area in august! I would describe myself as very a patient and communicative care taker. Destinee reached out to us about an open position we had posted. She was timely in her communication back and forth about dates. She watched our kids for a date night and we had discussed other nights in the future in the beginning of our talks but hadn't set anything in stone. During her evening watching out kids, she was calm and collected (says a lot with 2 wild boys under the age of 4). After that night she reached back out to ask about a date that was mentioned previously because she wanted to plan some activities which we felt was so thoughtful. We appreciate working with Destinee and the boys rave about her.
