About Desiree

Hello! My name is Desiree, though I usually go by Dez or Dezi. I've worked with children since 2018 from private homes to preschool classrooms, behavioral support, and even tutoring. I believe children are some of our wisest teachers as adults; they remind us to stay curious, present, imaginative, and open to seeing the world differently. I strive to create a space where children feel safe, understood, and free to be themselves while respecting each family's routines and preferences. With your child, you might find me dancing and singing around the house, getting way too invested in an arts-and-crafts project, making slime, exploring outside, reading, playing pretend, or joining whatever has captured their imagination. I love bringing fun into homes while providing reliable care. Currently, I'm studying BECA at SFSU with a Creative Writing minor. I look forward to bringing my creativity, communication skills, and experience into the care I provide for your family. Thank you!
