It is such a joy for me to be with children and families in that early formative time, helping children grow, play, and explore new things. I have worked with children and families for over 10 years as a nanny, social worker, mentor, and para-educator. Some of my most favorite times in my career so far have been as a nanny. During my time as a nanny, I enjoyed engaging infants, toddlers, and children in a variety of activities such as; reading daily, getting outside daily for a walk or visiting the park, playing my guitar, playing my flute, singing, talking and practicing vocabulary, swimming, sports, going to the library, museums, community centers, and art projects. I also like to set aside time to support families through light housekeeping and running errands so that the time that you have with your child(ren) is quality time. I am currently seeking a part-time position (preferably one or two days a week). My almost 2-year-old son will join us as a playmate while I care for your children. He is excellent with other kids and together we bring out the best in others. It is wonderful to have him around because he will encourage your child in how to be with other children, or my son can be like a big brother encouraging your child in their growth and development.
