About Desiree

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is my passion. With more than 5 years of experience, I focus on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning rather than simple memorization. I specialize in Math, English, and Dance, creating an engaging, patient environment tailored to each child's unique needs. By actively observing how my students interact with new material, I adapt my methods--using visual aids, hands-on activities, or discussions--to ensure concepts click. I keep students motivated by connecting challenging topics to their personal interests and celebrating every small success. Clear communication is at the heart of my approach, as I believe a collaborative relationship between tutor, student, and parent drives the best outcomes. Whether meeting online, at school, or in your home, I look forward to helping your child discover the joy of mastering new skills.
