About Beth

I hold a graduate degree as a reading Specialist from McDaniel College. I have been a teacher in Maryland for 22 years. I have experience teaching Kindergarten through 8th grade and currently am a reading specialist for WCPS. I am certified in Wilson language lessons , Fundations, and have in depth experience with the Science of Reading standards. My approach centers on building confidence and fostering a genuine love for learning. I adapt my methods using visual aids, hands-on activities, and discussions to suit your unique needs. When concepts become challenging, I break them down into manageable steps and celebrate every small success. I believe regular communication with parents is essential to reinforce progress at home. I am dedicated to helping your child excel in reading. Seeing your child reach your academic goals is the most rewarding part of my journey.
